Research Library reopens at PHIVE

PHIVE transition

Research Library reopens at PHIVE, 5 Parramatta Square

Changes are being made at the Parramatta Heritage and Visitor Information Centre Research Library and City branch Library as we begin our relocation to PHIVE - our new community, cultural and civic hub. Please find details of our pop-up services.

Open extended hours across seven days, PHIVE will be home to your new state-of-the-art Library, Customer Contact and Visitor Information services, community meeting spaces, café, and a diverse and vibrant cultural and community program.

From Monday 25 July, our Local Studies & Family History Research Library (located within the Heritage and Visitor Information Centre) will be closed as we prepare for an exciting move to our new space within the Library at PHIVE, 5 Parramatta Square. We look forward to welcoming you to PHIVE, 5 Parramatta Square.

During this time you can continue to access the local studies research team via email: localstudies@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au or online via the enquiry form on the Parramatta History and Heritage website.

From Friday 9 September, the Heritage and Visitor Information Centre will close permanently as we get ready to transition our visitor services to PHIVE, 5 Parramatta Square. While we get ready for the move, you can still access visitor information via https://atparramatta.com.
