Parramatta Soldier – Harold George Erby

Harold George Erby was born 1893, in Parramatta.

Harold was a son of George Thomas and Annie E. Erby of Wigram Street, Parramatta. His older brother Sydney Theodore Erby was also a driver with 4 Divisional Train and 20 Army Service Corps. His enlisted on 4 May 1916 and his service number was 10221.  He served in France before returning to Australia on 27 November 1919 and was discharged from duties on 30 January 1920.
