Volunteer

our volunteers

We offer opportunities for individuals who want to volunteer their time, energy and expertise to help preserve and make the rich history of Parramatta accessible to everyone.

Volunteer opportunities exist across the areas of archives, collection management and conservation, library, research, local studies and genealogy.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the team via the enquiry form on this website.

City of Parramatta Archives

We are uploading digital copies of our historic Granville Council minutes (1885-1948) to be transcribed as part of our Digivol Project. You can sign up to participate in transcribing these expeditions on the Digivol website by following the instructions here.

The City of Parramatta respectfully recognises the traditional owners of the land and waters of Parramatta, the Darug peoples.
Sensitivity notice: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers are advised that this website may contain images and voices of deceased ancestors.
