Welcome to Parramatta’s unique online trivia quiz, where you control the topics - from watering holes to world heritage, from firsts to feasts!

It’s endlessly flexible and with twenty topics, there’s something for everyone.  You decide the number of sets and choose the topics to suit your time and interests.  There’s also a tiebreaker question, if needed.

And to really boost your winning points - get into the 'Who am I / What am I' challenges.

It’s great as an icebreaker or team building activity, but can also be used as a challenge –
test your team against the competition.

This accessible quiz can be played online via Zoom, Teams, Skype or other online meeting apps, to bring family and friends together.  You will need to have Microsoft Powerpoint installed on your computer to run the quiz questions.

Instructions for the Quizmaster

In preparation:

  • install preferred meeting app on your computer
  • send out meeting invitations, including instructions on installing preferred meeting app

Setting Up:

  • before starting your online quiz, open the Powerpoints for all the topics you wish to play on your desktop, plus the tie-breaker Powerpoint.
  • open your meeting app and click Join meeting

Before you start:

  • check that everyone has joined the meeting
  • check that participants have a pen and paper at the ready, to write down their answers
  • if playing in teams, remind groups to mute their mic as they discuss their answer, so they don’t accidentally tell other teams
  • remember to speak slowly and clearly, so everyone understands the questions

Now you're ready to go - select Slide show on the top bar of the Powerpoint in the topic you wish to play first and click “From beginning”. When everyone is ready, select share screen in your meeting app and the participants will see the questions and still be able to hear you.
